- Jeremy shows what’s coming up this season including a test drive of the Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren on a track, Porsche GT3 RS, BMW 1 Series, Ferrari 612 Scaglietti, Porsche Carrera GT and a ton of other cars
- Jeremy, Richard and James race from the studio to Monte Carlo – Jeremy by Aston Martin DB9 and Richard and James by normal train and bullet train – to see which is faster, trains or cars
- Rover wouldn’t let Top Gear test drive their “City Rover”, so James went undercover to a dealership and did a review while on the test drive, all without getting the salesman to suspect a thing
- Jeremy drives the new Lotus Exige around the Top Gear test track all while trying to avoid having a Apache gunship helicopter getting a missle lock on him

Season 4, Episode 2 — Originally aired on May 17th, 2004

- Jeremy talks about the Alfa 166 and it’s depreciation value
- The Stig takes a 328 horsepower Alfa 147 GTA around the Top Gear test track
- A nun, yes, a nun, drives a monster truck over some cars
- Richard drives a Cadilac Escalade and talks about it’s “bling” factor
- Richard drives the 27 foot long “Fab 1″, Lady Penelope’s new car from the new Thunderbirds film
- Paul McKenna, the guest driver, is a hypnotist and hypnotises Richard into not remembering how to drive
- Paul McKenna hypnotises Richard again and convinces him that a little pedal toy 911 is his real car
- Saving the best for last, Jeremy drives the Mercedes-Benz McLaren SLR around the Top Gear test track and compares it to the Mercedes-Benz SL55 followed by the Stig taking the SLR around the test track for a lap time

Season 4, Episode 3 — Originally aired on May 24th, 2004
- Jeremy, James and Richard buy cars for under £100 and run them through a series of tests
- Richard drives a 1968 Dodge Charger R/T and talks about how badly he wants one
- Jeremy compares the Porsche 911 GT3 RS to the Ferrari 360 Challenge Stradale

Season 4, Episode 4 — Originally aired on May 31st, 2004
- Jeremy sees if he can drive 800 miles on a single tank of gas with a twin-turbo, V8 diesel Audi A8
- You know that British commercial where a Ford Street Ka whacks a pigeon with it’s hood? Well James uses the Ka’s satellite navigation to see if he can beat a racing homing pigeon
- The age old question of which is faster, a Subaru Impreza or a Mitsubishi Evo, is answered again with the Subaru Impreza WRX STi WR1 and the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VIII MR
- James and Richard play darts with some cars and a cannon
- Jeremy drives the Porsche Carrera GT followed by the Stig taking it around the Top Gear test track

Season 4, Episode 5 — Originally aired on June 7th, 2004
- Richard got the short straw and had to review the Vauxhall Astra, the new Volkswagen Golf and the Mazda 3
- Jeremy drives the MG ZT 260 which has a Mustang engine and looks exactly like a Rover 75
- Richard goes to Germany, gets in a Volkswagen Golf and gets hit with artificial lightning
- Richard, James and Jeremy compare the new BMW 6 series, a low end Porsche 911, and a Jaguar XKR

Season 4, Episode 6 — Originally aired on June 14th, 2004
- Jeremy drives around the number one selling car in Japan, the Nissan Cube
- James tries out a Jaguar XJS that has been completely rebuilt into a decent car
- Richard drives the Cadillac CTS which he claims is the first American car able to go around corners
- Richard and Jeremy decide which cars should become available in Britain or stay not available
- Richard races in a cow crap powered Rover versus a human crap powered Rover and a gas powered Rover
- Jeremy spins around on three wheels in the new Renault Clio 182 followed by the Stig taking it around the track for a lap time

- Jeremy drives the £145,000 Mercedes-Benz CL65 which has 738 foot-pounds of torque
- In the news: the new BMW M5, the new Audi A6, trains being less efficient than a car and Euro NCAP crash ratings
- Richard and James take two “super-sub-tall-family-micro cars”, the Ford Focus C-Max and the Renault Scenic mini-cabbing to see which is better
- Jeremy reviews a car that I’ve always thought looked really cool, the Spyker C8 from Holland
- Jeremy, Richard and James drag race the Mercedes-Benz CL65 against a Bentley Continental GT and a Aston Martin DB9

Season 4, Episode 8 — Originally aired on July 19th, 2004
- James drives around the mountain roads of Sicily, Italy in a £70,000 Maserati Quattroporte
- In the news: new Porsche 911, Toyota Hilux Invincible, Honda FR-V, Autobahn speed limit, jet fighter and a lamp post, Top Gear Motoring Survey 2004, caravans on the M5 Motorway, Mercedes-Benz CLS
- Richard talks about the end of the production of the Rover V8 and goes racing in a Rover SD1 as a tribute to it
- Jeremy sees if a diesel Skoda Fabia vRS is faster around the test track than a Mini Cooper driven by Richard
- Richard talks about a new fine for people blocking “yellow box junctions” and goes out and embarrasses people who block them
- Jeremy drives the new Ford GT – a production version, not the mule he drove previously – followed by the Stig racing it around the Top Gear test track
- Richard sees which is better against a 747 jet engine – a Ford Mondeo or a Citroen 2CV

Season 4, Episode 9 — Originally aired on July 26th, 2004
- Richard finds out which is best – the Mazda MX-5 (aka Mazda Miata), the Toyota MR2, or the Fiat Barchetta
- A guy named Tim tries to parachute out of a plane and land in a convertible Mercedes-Benz going 50 mph driven by a guy named Ben
- Richard and James go to Scotland to compare the Mini Cabriolet, Vauxhall Tigra, Mercedes-Benz SLK and Audi S4
- Jeremy shows a review he recorded back in January of the Jaguar X-Type Estate (Stationwagon) in snow
- The Stig takes the Mercedes-Benz CL65 reviewed on July 11th’s Top Gear around the Top Gear test track
- SIARPC: Sir Ranulph Fiennes, a guy who did 7 marathons in 7 days on 7 continents
Season 4, Episode 10 — Originally aired on August 2nd, 2004
- Richard reviews the Peugeot 407 which includes him using it as a pace car for a bunch of Radical racers
- In the news: Citroen C4, horse trailers (they call them horse boxes), car restorations next season, Russians buying TVR, Peugeot’s new car, the 1007, with sliding mini-van doors on a hatchback
- James went to find some new stuff for the studio using the new Volvo V50 Estate (aka Stationwagon)
- 5 cars from around the world compete in a long-jump in the “Car Olympics”
- Jeremy drives the new BMW X3 on the road and then attempts to take it offroad
- Richard takes out the Chevrolet Corvette C6 followed by the Stig taking it around the test track for a surprising lap time
